Just as a woman’s heart knows to pump, her lungs to fill with air, her hand to pull back from fire, so her body knows how to birth


I am not afraid, I was made to do this

Breathe baby down

When I reach the point when I feel I cannot do it, God will take over

Pain means progress

I am the chosen mother to bring our daughter into the world

My contractions can never me stronger than me, they are me

Today is the most beautiful day of my pregnancy

Pain is the sensation of my body doing exactly what it’s meant to do

This will not last forever

My body and my baby are strong

I can do anything for a minute

Our daughter is waiting to be held by us

God is in control of every moment of this day and this birth

Relaxed jaws, relaxed pelvic floor, relaxed cervix

Just as my body knew how to grow this daughter, it knows how to bring her into the world

The only way out is through
